Imperial GF: a set of four gravity filters made in the United States

Monderma Imperial GF filters combine a silver-impregnated microporous ceramic shell with a core of granular activated carbon and zeolite. This set contains 4 filter elements, intended for gravity-fed systems used with cold potable tap water.

GF or AMB: two different constructions

The GF version contains granular activated carbon. The AMB version uses a compressed activated carbon block. This difference in construction alone does not imply a specific reduction rate or superiority regarding all contaminants.

Using the set of four

For a system using two filters, this set provides one pair for initial use and one replacement pair. Store unused elements according to the instructions. The number of filters in the set does not extend the service life of each pair once put into use.

The estimated flow rate for the range is approximately 3 liters per hour for two elements; the actual flow rate depends on factors such as water level and filter condition.

Maintenance and replacement

The Monderma replacement guideline is a maximum of 12 months after putting each pair into service, with earlier replacement if required by usage conditions or the instructions. This is a maintenance guideline, not a certified reduction lifespan for every individual contaminant. Cleaning the ceramic surface does not replace the need to renew the elements.

Designed for Monderma fountains and certain gravity systems from Berkey®, British Berkefeld®, ProOne®, and other compatible models. Please check dimensions, available space, and mounting before ordering. Compatibility of fit does not constitute certification of the equipped system.

Use only with cold potable tap water in a non-pressurized gravity system. Do not use with hot water. These filters are not presented as a device for making well, spring, or microbiologically unsafe water potable. Follow official authority guidelines in the event of water alerts.
